INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - St. Elmo's - always a favorite with celebrities and VIPs - is the center of the Circle City's Super Bowl restaurant scene.
It seems it's on every visitor's short list of places to go. The restaurant has seen a three-fold increase in traffic. Not only is every employee working this weekend, but former staffers have come back to help.
Visitors, from places as far-flung as California to New Jersey, told 24-Hour News 8 they were willing to wait for as long as necessary to taste St. Elmo's famed shrimp cocktail.
To accommodate the crowds, the restaurant has set up a tent outside so guests who can't get a seat can still get the sought-after appetizer.
But now, 24-Hour News 8 gives you a special behind-the-scenes look at St. Elmo's - from servers in black tie carrying countless trays, to cooks scurrying through the kitchen with deft efficiency, to hostesses juggling phones, crowds and countless questions.
