INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Former Colts punter Hunter Smith is no stranger to the Super Bowl spotlight, having helped the team win the big game. He's back in the spotlight in Indianapolis - this time on a stage in Super Bowl Village, playing with his band.

When asked which one is tougher - playing football or playing music on stage - Smith said: "Definitely playing football. How things go in this concert won't be broadcast around the world. Football is more of a challenge and music comes naturally. Doing this is like breathing. I'm in the zone, so I'm looking forward to it."

As a player who has already made the decision to retire from the NFL - one who knows Peyton Manning well - he offered an interesting perspective on the talk of the town: "If I were him, I would be thinking the tenure with the city - and I think Peyton is a realist - playing 13-14 years in the NFL, period, is unheard of, let alone one team."

Hunter said it was tough to leave the NFL, but for him it was also a blessing.

"There are moments where it's hard, and you're watching games and you're thinking, 'I could still play.' But really, I was ready to move on and move into another purpose in life," he said. "Then it makes it a lot easier."
