INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - More than 200,000 people were on Georgia Street in the Super Bowl Village Friday night, the Host Committee reported in a Saturday morning briefing.

Thirteen people were injured in Downtown Indianapolis between 7 a.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Saturday. Eleven of the thirteen were injured Sunday evening.

Police report 22 arrests were made in the same time Friday through Saturday morning; the majority of those arrested face public intoxication charges.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police say they, along with Indiana State Police, sent extra officers to certain areas, specifically Georgia and Maryland streets. Police also planned to tweak their plans for handling the crowds Saturday night.

If you plan to be downtown Saturday night, know that you will be in a large crowd. If you want to watch the bands and are near the front of the stage, be sure to leave yourself some room, police said.

If you feel unsafe and are in an emergency, dial 911.
