INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Pop superstar Madonna, who’s made a career of putting on extravagant shows all over the world, admitted the heat of the Super Bowl spotlight has her nervous.

She said preparations for the halftime show – the details of which have been rumored but not confirmed by the icon herself – have been grueling, and she’s never worked harder.

When asked whether she’d be pushing the envelope – as has been her habit over the years – on the Super Bowl stage, she said: "The envelope I'm pushing is just for a spectacular show."

With hundreds of journalists and paparazzi in attendance at a news conference in Indianapolis on Thursday, she gushed about Indy – even noting she’d heard good things about the Children’s Museum, where her kids were planning to spend some time.

When asked if she ever planned to bring her own show to Indianapolis, she seemed surprised to realize she had yet to play a concert here: “I haven’t done it here yet?” she asked.
