Fighters take to Indy sky for training

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Members of the Civil Air Patrol from Ohio and Indiana will take to the air Wednesday as part of a Super Bowl security training exercise.

Starting around 7 p.m., the CAP will join the Air Force, Customs and Border Patrol and NORAD’s peace time air defense sector CONR, to practice intercepting aircraft that enter into the No Fly Zone situated around Lucas Oil Stadium.

One of two CAP planes will be the intercept target for the military aircraft.
