INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Twenty steel football sculptures were installed across downtown Indianapolis Tuesday as part of an ongoing effort to spruce up before the Super Bowl.

The unique sculptures were placed in planting areas maintained by Indianapolis Downtown Inc.

"The planters add a touch of beauty to our vibrant Downtown," said Tamara Zahn, IDI president. "Our goal is to brighten the winter streetscape. The added evergreens and steel sculptures provide a 'fun' factor and pleasant surprise for Downtown guests."
