INDOT: I-74 lanes closed for reconstruction

INDIANAPOLIS (INDOT) - The Indiana Department of Transportation will remove a 60-foot section of failing concrete pavement along Interstate 74 at the 118+48 mile marker tonight-closing the westbound right lane on either side of the State Road 244 overpass south of Shelbyville.

Early tomorrow morning, INDOT Greenfield Subdistrict maintenance crews plan to pour 27 yards of new concrete to repair the roadway at that location.

The westbound right lane will be closed until noon on Wednesday to allow time for the concrete patch to set-up and cure.
