INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Liberty Township officials are investigating an accident that occurred Sunday morning.
The incident occurred just before 10:30 a.m. near the 59 mile marker. When police arrived on scene, they found one vehicle inverted with a driver trapped inside. The person was extricated from the vehicle within 20 minutes. Crews were forced to remove the driver side of the vehicle to get the person out.
The condition of the person is not yet known at this time.
I-70 was shut down to one lave for almost an hour while crews cleaned up the scene.
