INDOT: I-465 stops Sunday

INDIANAPOLIS (INDOT) - The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) will permit the temporary stoppage of traffic on Interstate 465 on the northeast side Sunday morning.

Indiana State Police will stop both directions of traffic on I-465 at River Road, located between Keystone Avenue and Allisonville Road, sometime between 6:30 and 8 a.m. During the temporary stop, Telecom Placement Inc. will cross the interstate with an aerial utility line.

The permit allows for stoppage up to 20 minutes; however, these events are typically expected to last only a few minutes.
