INDIANAPOLIS (INDOT) - The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) will restrict traffic lanes on Interstate 465 at Allisonville Road Monday night.
The two left lanes of eastbound and westbound I-465 will be closed beginning at 10 p.m. Monday, July 2 as crews from Walsh Construction, the state’s contractor, pour concrete for the new bridge’s center support pier. The traffic lanes will reopen before 6 a.m. Tuesday.
The Allisonville Road bridge over I-465 closed for reconstruction on May 30 for approximately 110 days. Walsh Construction crews are currently paving concrete driving lanes and constructing reinforced walls on the new interchange ramps. In addition to the bridge center pier, crews are working to complete the north and south bridge abutments in preparation for setting bridge beams.
