INDIANAPOLIS (INDOT) - The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announce State Road 267 (S.R. 267) will have lane restrictions beginning Wednesday and Thursday of this week. Crews with Rieth-Riley Construction will be paving the roadway near County Road 100 North, just north of Avon. Traffic will be controlled by flagmen. It is suggested for motorists to seek an alternate route during the paving operations these two days. The local detour follows Dan Jones Road to US 36 to State Road 267.
Rieth-Riley Construction Company was awarded the $1.5 million contract. This project will improve the intersection with added turn lanes and the installation of a traffic signal. This project is scheduled for completion by the end of October.
