INDOT: U.S. 31 lane restrictions in Carmel

CARMEL, Ind. (INDOT) - The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) will restrict traffic on US 31 tonight (7/23) and Tuesday (7/24) night to remove temporary overhang support brackets from the southbound flyover ramp to Keystone Parkway.

Walsh Construction, the state’s contractor, will restrict the left lane of US 31 in both directions between Range Line Road and 146th Street. The lane closures will begin at 9 p.m. both nights and are expected to end by 6 a.m. the following mornings.

Both directions of US 31 are currently routed to share the east side of the roadway between 151st Street and the Monon Trail, just south of Range Line Road and Clay Terrace Boulevard. Two through lanes and turn lanes are maintained in each direction as new southbound lanes are being reconstructed.
