INDOT: Work to close U.S. 231 ramp

PUTNAM/MORGAN COUNTIES (INDOT) - The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces the resurfacing project on I-70 will close the westbound exit ramp to US 231 (Exit 41) on Saturday, December 1 from 8-11 a.m. to replace the traffic signal loops in the roadway.  Crews plan to close the I-70 eastbound exit ramp to US 231 in the afternoon between 1- 4 p.m.

This project on I-70 will resurface the interstate from US 231 to Little Point.  This project was awarded to Rieth-Riley Construction for $10.49 million.  This project is scheduled for completion in mid December of this year.

The work schedule is subject to change in the event of inclement weather.
