Scattered furniture clogs traffic on I-69

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Officials say traffic on southbound I-69 near 116th Street is moving very slowly due to furniture scattered along the highway.

Dispatchers say a truck carrying furniture lost some of its load. The furniture, including a mattress and a number of chairs, scattered across the interstate.

Cars were forced to dodge the chairs, but no one was seriously injured in this accident.

According to INDOT, the right lane of I-69 southbound near the 205 mile marker will be closed for about 45 minutes.

Please use caution when traveling on I-69 near the 116th Street exit.
