PENDLETON, Ind. (WISH) - The Indiana State Police in Pendleton confirm a three-car accident closed SR 9 for a bit Tuesday morning.
Dispatchers say the crash occurred one mile south of SR 9 and SR 67 just after 8 a.m.
Investigation shows an Oldsmobile was traveling north bound on SR 9 when it traveled over the center line and side swiped a south bound 2000 Dodge Durango. The Duragno traveled into the north bound lane and struck a 1999 Dodge Caravan head-on.
The three drivers were transported to St. John's Hospital in Anderson. Their injuries are believed to be non life-threatening.
SR 9 was closed for over an hour while crews cleaned up the accident. Police say they were able to respond to this accident very quickly because it is only about a quarter mile from the police post.
