INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - One hundred years ago, an event changed the lives and landscape of Indianapolis forever.

A massive flood covered countless acres of land that were thought to always be high and dry. But today, few people talk about, or even know about, the disaster.

The Indiana Historical Society is working to preserve the history of this event, and WISH TV is helping to make that happen.

If you, or a relative, survived the massive flood, we want to hear from you! Contact Angela Giamcomelli at 317-232-1882 or visits indianahistory.org.
