Video: Emancipation Proclamation anniversary

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Jan. 1, 2013 was the 150th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln’s signing and issuing of the Emancipation Proclamation.

To commemorate this, the Indiana State Museum has put a signed copy of the proclamation on exhibit through March 2, 2013, along with an original signed copy of the 13th Amendment.

Dick Wolfsie had a chance to view the documents and give a preview of some upcoming exhibits about our 16th president,  just in time for Martin Luther King's birthday tomorrow.
