INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Scattered bands of flurries and snow showers will dive down from the north as an upper-level storm system slowly moves northeast.
Temperatures should stay in the low 30s. Forecast 8 Meteorologist Ken Brewer says there may be pockets of accumulation close to 1 inch across a good part of the area. Northern and eastern Indiana may see pockets of accumulation at 2 inches.
There should be no major snow totals to face for the morning commute. Untreated roads may have some patchy slick spots.
The Indy Snow Force announced Wednesday night that 36 drivers are reporting at 11 p.m. to monitor roads and bridges.
Most drivers in the Indianapolis metro area will have less than 1 inch of snow possible for the drive.
