INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Indianapolis snow plow drivers will report at 11 p.m. Thursday as snow is expected to move into the area.

There are 90 plow drivers being called out. Forecast 8 Meteorologist Ken Brewer is forecasting 1 to 2 inches of snow will fall across most of Central Indiana by Friday night.

Areas northeast of the metro area will see closer to 3 inches, with counties to the south seeing less snow.

Snow should move into the area in the early morning hours and could mean a messy Friday morning commute for drivers. The snow should stop falling by noon Friday.

Watch Daybreak starting at 5 a.m. on WISH-TV and check with the Forecast 8 Weather Blog for the latest on the snow forecast.
