INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The severe thunderstorm watch has been canceled for much of central Indiana. Some southern and eastern Indiana counties remain under a watch until 1 a.m.
Forecast 8 meteorologist Angela Buchman said though pockets of heavy rain remained in the eastern half of the state as of about 8 p.m., the threat of severe weather was diminishing.
There were some spotty reports of storm damage, including a tree into a house near 33rd and Harding streets in Indianapolis, and small hail in some parts of central Indiana.
Forecast 8 will track these storms as they form and have the latest on the Forecast 8 Weather Blog .
