INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A moderate risk for severe storms is in place in eastern Indiana, while a slight risk remains for the rest of the state for Thursday afternoon.
Storms west of Indiana have been dissipating, however Forecast 8 expects the line to reform either over Indiana or just east of Indianapolis.
“Obviously if the line explodes east of us the loss of that rain would be more than disappointing, but the severity of the storms no one needs,” Forecast 8 Chief Meteorologist Steve Bray said.
Hail and wind are going to be the largest threats with the storms. Hail stones could push golf ball size in a few storms and wind gusts could push past 60 mph.
Stay with Forecast 8 online and on the air for radar and any warnings or watches that may be issued.
