C Robert Dillon

C Robert Dillon is the digital developer at WISH-TV in Indianapolis and serves as a technology consultant and on-air contributor to the WISH newscast. Rob also helps non-techies embrace their inner geek by serving as the resident technology expert for the lifestyle television program Indy Style as well as hosting the show’s weekly technology segment, Taming Technology.

Rob’s passion for technology was apparent at an early age; from building crystal radios to learning his first computer programming language on a computer built from a kit up to running a computer bulletin board system long before the days of the now ubiquitous internet. Even though Rob is fluent in over five programming languages, he is not your stereotypical geek! With a keen eye towards usability and practicality, Rob possesses an easygoing, social persona that allows others to easily understand and quickly embrace the key concepts of today’s technology.

Rob is a technology professional with over 17 years experience developing award winning new media projects and holds a Master’s Degree in Information Technology from The University of Central Missouri. Rob is a noted gadget freak, voracious reader, and a loving grandfather, father and husband. Rob makes his home in Indianapolis along with his wife, four cats and beloved iMac.
