SLIDELL, La. (CNN) - A Louisiana man is facing burglary charges after police say he forgot a crucial part of his break-in plan: his disguise.

Slidell police say Richard Boudreaux went out Tuesday night dressed in camouflage and gloves -- armed with burglary tools to steal from his former employer.

Officers say he forgot the seafood restaurant where he used to work had security cameras, so he put a bucket on his head.

Boudreaux was allegedly able to get away with cash from the register and tried unsuccessfully to hit another business.

Police say they caught up with him at home and arrested him.

He now faces burglary charges and additional drug charges for items police said they found in his home at the time of his arrest.
