Fairfield, Conn. (WTNH) - Two people have been arrested after they called a Fairfield bank demanding money, police said.
The call came in to the People's United Bank in Stratfield Center around 3:00 p.m. The caller stated that he was sending someone in and that the teller should hand over $100,000.
By the time one of the suspects walked into the bank, police were already on their way. As the suspect started to head towards a getaway car, where a 16-year old juvenile was waiting to drive off, police were able to block them in.
Albert Bailey, 27, was apprehended, as well as unidentified 16-year old boy.
There was no word yet on the exact charges the two face.
