WASHINGTON (AP) - Patton Oswalt has never won a Grammy for best comedy album. He hopes the trend continues.

Oswalt is nominated for "Finest Hour." His competition is Weird Al Yankovic's "Alpocalypse," "Kathy Griffin: 50 and Not Pregnant," "Turtleneck & Chain" by "Saturday Night Live's" Andy Samberg and other members of The Lonely Island comedy group and Louis C.K.'s "Hilarious."

Oswalt says he thinks he's "an excellent standup," but he says Louis C.K. is the zenith right now. He hopes Louis C.K. wins.

He'll find out Sunday at the Grammys.
