DETROIT (AP) — The Detroit Symphony Orchestra is set to play scores from director Tim Burton's films during a special performance the night before Halloween.
The music was composed by longtime Burton collaborator Danny Elfman, who has created scores for such Burton films as "Batman" and "The Nightmare Before Christmas."
The performance called "Danny Elfman's Music from the Films of Tim Burton" is to be led by conductor Ted Sperling on Wednesday at Orchestra Hall.
It's to include music from "Beetlejuice" and "Edward Scissorhands" among others.
