JACKSONVILLE, Ark. (CNN) - It was a scary morning for some elementary students in Arkansas after a man hijacked their school bus.
Police have identified the suspect as Nicholas Miller.
They say Miller hijacked the bus and, at some point, removed the driver from the wheel and drove the bus.
Authorities were able to stop the bus after a chase that lasted about 10 miles.
The 11 students on the bus were not harmed. Their parents were notified and were able to take them home.
Police say Miller is facing charges of kidnapping, aggravated assault and vehicle piracy.
State highway officials say an eight-mile section of Interstate 65 near Lafayette will be expanded to three lanes in each direction.
Crews from a northeastern Indiana fire department had to rush to put out a blaze at the home of their assistant chief.
State Road 39 re-opened in Boone County Friday morning following a crash.
