NWS confirms two Vigo Co. tornadoes

The National Weather Service has confirmed that two small tornadoes touched down in Vigo County as thunderstorms moved through the Terre Haute area.

UPDATE 9:00 P.M.: A thunderstorm line is crawling through the state, leaving lots of flooding and heavy rain chances. Some thunderstorms are popping up ahead of the main line in between Bloomington and Bedford.

Area flood watch in effect after storm

UPDATE 7 a.m.: An area flood watch has been issued for Adams, Blackford, Grant, Jay and Wells counties and will expire at 2 a.m. Friday. Watch for areas with high water.
