The festival takes place on Steven Street, in front of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, and also includes part of Greer Street as well as Edna Balz Lacy Family Park. Parking is free, courtesy of Eli Lilly, and is located off of East Street just north of the Festival
2013 marks the 20th anniversary of the Italian Heritage Society of Indiana. IHSI was born from the 1989 Quincentary Columbus Commission which observed the momentous discovery of America by Cristoforo Colombo with a gala celebration in 1992. Since 1993 the Society, a non-profit organization, has been dedicated to preserving, promoting and celebrating Italian culture, heritage along with the Italian American experience as its mission ever since.
