Surisa Richardson's product concept is a Thai HOTburger! Surisa, of Thai descent, wants to bring to Indiana the concept of a tasty, spicy burger made with Thai spices and herbs with healthy ingredients like green been, ginger, galanga and lemongrass. She wants to distribute to grocery stores through Indiana and then eventually throughout the U.S.
The adult grand prize winner will receive $2,500 in seed money from Reliable to start their business, $500 of professional cookware, and expert consultation and commercial kitchen time from Indy’s Kitchen www.indyskitchen.com valued at $500.
The teen grand prize winner will receive $500 in seed money from Reliable, cooking classes at Indy’s Kitchen and professional cookware. Finalists will be selected in late May to participate in a final judging event at Indy’s Kitchen on Friday, June 14th.
