If you’re having a party, a burger bar is a fun and easy way to entertain guests. There are three easy steps to follow:
•      Pick your bun
•      Pick your burger
•      Pick your toppings

Here are common options when making your burger:
•      Jalapeno Jack Burger
       – Top with Grilled Pineapple and Honey BBQ Sauce.  Adds sweetness to the spiciness of the jalapeno.  You can also add Bacon.
•      Cheddar Bacon Burger
      – Top with Mac and Cheese, compliments the smokiness of the bacon in the burger.
•      Wagyu Burger
      – Top with Cheddar Cheese, Mayo, Avocado and Onion Straws (Or Bacon).  This burger has exceptional marbling and flavor.
•     Hoosier Burger
     – Top with some homemade Pickle Dip.  This is perfect for pickle lovers! Ashlie will demonstrate how to make the Pickle Dip.
     – Pickle Dip can also be served as a side with chips.

Kabobs are a great way to barbecue beef in the summer. Kabobs cook quickly, so you can spend less time grilling and more time enjoying your family or guests.

Kabob Tips:
•     Cut meat and veggies into even sized pieces so the kabobs cook at the same rate.
•      Soak wooden skewers in bowl of water for 10-20 minutes so they don’t burn.
•      Make sure your grill is hot, it doesn’t take long to cook kabobs.
•      Be sure to baste with marinade through out grilling to give kabobs ultimate flavor.

Directions: Start by soaking wooden skewers in cold water for 10-20 min, helps keep them from burning on the grill. Next, cut up sirloin kabob meat into 1 inch pieces.  In a mixing bowl, mix together BBQ sauce and lemon lime soda.  (Reserve ½ cup of mixture for basting during grilling).  Pour remaining mixture over kabob meat, either in a seal tight container or can use a zip lock bag.  Let marinade in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.  While the meat is marinating, cut up the red bell pepper, pineapple and onion into 1 inch pieces.  Once the meat has finished marinating, start stringing the kabob meat, red pepper, pineapple and onion onto the wooden skewers.  Repeat pattern until each skewer is full, leaving room on each end for holding.  Next, once your grill is good and hot, place skewers on the grill.  Be sure to baste with BBQ and soda mixture throughout cooking.  Depending on the grill temperature, kabobs take about 15 min to cook, rotating kabobs every couple minutes.

Cheeseburger Tator Tot Kabobs Recipe
Ingredients:
•    1 Package of Frozen Tator Tots
•    1 Package of Hoosier Steaks Cheddar Bacon Burgers (2 Burgers)
•    1 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
•    Ketchup or Ranch Dressing for Dipping
•    Wooden Skewers

Directions: Fire up your grill and begin cooking the cheddar bacon burgers.  You can also cook burgers on stovetop if grill isn’t available.  Be sure to cook burgers thoroughly so that the cheese inside the burgers can fully cook. While burgers are cooking, pre-heat oven to 450 degrees.  On a baking sheet, evenly spread out tator tots.  Bake for 8 minutes then flip tator tots and bake for an additional 7 minutes.  Once the tator tots are golden brown, remove from oven and let slightly cool.  While tator tots are cooling, cut up your cheddar bacon burgers into small pieces.  Next, begin stringing burger pieces and tator tots onto wooden skewers until the skewers are full, leaving room on each end for holding.  Makes roughly 8 kabobs.  Once the kabobs are ready, place back on baking sheet and top with 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese.  Bake until cheese is melted.  Serve with ketchup or ranch dressing for dipping.
