The summer breeze… the warmth… the thickness in the air. It all calls for a cocktail, don’t you think?!

Today on Indy Style, Mike Stone and Autumn Nethery of Jeptha Creed Distillery tell us more about their very own operation, AND they make us a cocktail, too! 

Jeptha Creed Distillery: (As told by Mike and Autumn) 

This is a farm to table or ground to glass brand from Shelbyville, KY. The distillery is owned and operated by women a dynamic mother and daughter duo. Our brands are made from Bloody Butcher Corn a heirloom varietal grown on our farm land along with sourcing and growing all of our ingredients for our spirits locally. The land is at the foothills of the “Jeptha” Knobs and our “Creed” is always to grow and locally source our ingredients. We have vodkas with fresh infused flavors, moonshines with fresh infused flavors, Whiskey and soon to be released Bourbons. Our distillery has just started distribution in Indiana bringing a new local approach to the Indiana industry. We are here to not only educate consumers but also bring a strong women presence to a farm fresh spirit. Our brand is truly a handcrafted local premium spirit. 

Jeptha Creed Summer Cocktails
Ginger Bee
•    1.5 oz Jeptha Creed Honey Flavored Vodka
•    .5 oz Lime Juice
•    5 oz Ginger Beer
Pour the vodka and lime juice into a shaker tin with ice. Shake and strain into a copper mule mug filled with ice. Top with ginger beer and garnish with a lime wedge.

Moonshine Margarita
•    2 oz Jeptha Creed Louisville Lemonade Moonshine
•    1 oz triple sec
•    1 oz fresh lime juice
Combine all ingredients in a shaker and add ice. Shake and strain into a salt-rimmed rocks glass. Garnish with a lime wheel

Patio Punch
•    2 oz Jeptha Creed Blueberry Flavored Vodka
•    1 oz Mint Simple Syrup
•    1 oz Lime Juice
Top with Lemon Lime sparkling
Pour all ingredients in a tall glass with ice and then give a gentle stir
