INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - High water from recent heavy rains is affecting some Indianastate parks and reservoirs.
The Indiana Department of Natural Resources says beaches atMississinewa, Salamonie, Roush and Lieber state recreation areaswill be closed at least through the weekend because of highwater.
The agency said the high water also has closed a ramp atPortland Mills in Parke County and a backpack and canoeingcampground at Shades State Park.
The department also said some reservoirs may have debrisfloating in the water so boaters and skiers should use caution.
