Andi Hauser comes to Indianapolis from colorful Colorado. She has Mid-western roots which began in Springfield, Ohio. With family in both Indiana and Ohio she feels right at home in the Circle City.
Andi grew up in North Carolina and considers herself just another one of many G.R.I.T.S (girls raised in the south). Don’t be surprised if you hear a southern drawl sneak out from time to time.
After finishing college at the University of North Carolina-Charlotte and the University of Salzburg-Austria she began her news career in Beckley, WV. Her broadcasting career has taken her to Iowa, Washington and Colorado.
In case you haven’t noticed Andi’s favorite Indy Style segments often take place in the kitchen. When she’s not working you’ll find her enjoying all the great food Indy has to offer.
Community involvement commands a good amount of Andi’s free time, including speaking engagements and emceeing area events. She sits on the board of Angels & Doves Anti-bullying program and Dyslexia Institute of Indiana. She also rallies behind the efforts of Back on My Feet.
Andi has ridden motorcycles for years and enjoys everything from a sleek Ducati to a shined up Harley-Davidson. When Moto GP comes to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, she cheers on her favorite riders, including, of course, Nicky Hayden.
She leads a very active lifestyle which includes many area races from a 5k to a half-marathon, riding horses at a local stable to walking her furry baby Gatsby.
