Gas prices up on average 9 cents a gallon
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The average price of a gallon of gas spiked nine cents a gallon over the past two weeks to $2.83.
Industry analyst Trilby Lundberg said the jump was driven primarily by rising crude oil costs.
The current gas price is 37 cents above where it was a year ago.
AAA says the current average for regular unleaded in central Indiana is $2.70.
