Man drives for miles with pistol lodged in bumper

(WKRN) – It’s happened to all of us.

You’re driving on the interstate and something hits your car. If there’s no noticeable damaged, you keep on driving.

That’s what happened to a man in Washington state.

It wasn’t until later when he stopped that he saw what he hit was still attached to his car was a pistol.

The man told Washington troopers he saw a black object fly up and hit the front of his car but he kept going, thinking it was no big deal.

He stopped for gas about 20 miles later, which is when he called police.

Officers are working to figure out where the gun came from.
