Brownsburg police seek suspect in lottery ticket theft

BROWNSBURG, Ind. (WISH) — The Brownsburg Police Department said Monday it is asking for help to identify a person after a reported theft of lottery tickets. 

The person entered a Speedway gas station and convenience store Oct. 14 and requested scratch-off tickets, police said on the Brownsburg Crime Tips Facebook page. Brownsburg has two Speedway stations, but the post did not indicate at which the crime occurred. 

The suspect placed the tickets in his pockets and left the store without paying while the clerk was distracted.

No additional information was provided.
