IMPD seeks help to ID suspects in armed robbery at store

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department has released photos to get help to identify two suspects in the armed robbery Sunday of a convenience store. 

The robbery occurred about 4:15 a.m. at the Speedway gas station and convenience store at 7270 W. 10th St. That’s at the intersection with North Girls School Road.

One male was wearing a black hoodie and black shoes, and the other male was wearing a black hoodie, jeans and white shoes. 

The IMPD Northwest District said in an alert that both males entered the business and waited for the employee to return from a smoke break outside the store. One male then exited the store and kept watch. The other male pressed a black handgun into the employee’s neck and demanded money from the register. 

Both suspects fled east of the business on foot.
