Man shot, killed on city’s northwest side

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A male victim died Friday in a shooting on the city’s northwest side, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
Officers responded to the 4600 block of Abington Way just after 12:20 p.m. on a report of a person shot.
After arriving in the area, officers located the victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim has been identified as 20-year-old Kyle Lane.
No information about the circumstances of the shooting were immediately available.
