Person stable after stabbing at apartments on northwest side

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Police report a person is stable after a stabbing Thursday night at apartments on the city’s northwest side. 

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department was called about 7:05 p.m. for a person stabbed in the 4600 block of Lynnfield Road. That’s at Scarborough Lake Apartments off North High School Road north of West 46th Street 

IMPD public affairs Officer Genae Cook said it appears a suspect was detained after the stabbing. 

No additional information was immediately available from police.
