INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Police say the death of a 1-year-old child almost two weeks ago is being investigated as a homicide.
Officers were called to a home in the 600 block of South Marion Avenue around 11:30 a.m. on May 4. The 1-year-old girl was found motionless on the floor.
A homicide investigator and Child Protective Services official arrived to the scene. The child's death has been ruled a homicide, though, it is not clear how she died.
IMPD spokesman Officer Kendale Adams says a suspect has not been identified.
