RANDOLPH CO. Ind. (WISH) - Officials say two people were arrested Thursday after a man pointed a gun at a woman inside a home he was robbing.
The gun was found inside the home, police say.
Mark Griffis, 44, was arrested at a residence Thursday and preliminarily charged with robbery with a deadly weapon, burglary with a deadly weapon, residential entry, criminal recklessness and theft.
Crystal Bowlin, 37, was arrested and preliminarily charged with burglary and theft.
According to a release, a woman went inside her boyfriend's mother's home on Thursday to get something when she found herself face to face with a robber.
The woman told police a man pointed the gun that was found in the home. He threatened her and then fled out the back door.
Witnesses told police they saw a white Pontiac during an incident earlier in the day involving a prowler with a crow bar.
Police spotted the car in the afternoon and pulled it over. It was driven by Bowling.
The release says she told police she dropped Griffis off just south of the house that was robbed.
Later in the day, police were able to locate Griffis in a home.
Both are being held in Randolph County Jail on a $25,000 bond.
