ANDERSON, Ind. (WISH) - Police in Anderson responded to a shooting Sunday afternoon where a male victim was shot in the head.
Detective Joel Sandefur with the Anderson Police Department says a call came in around 3:30 p.m. that a man had been shot in the head.
The incident happened in the 2100 block of Menifee Street.
The man was taken to St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital and will be airlifted to IU Health Methodist Hospital.
Police are working to identify who the man is. Information on the condition of the victim was not immediately available.
The investigation is ongoing and no suspects have been arrested.
24-Hour News 8's news partner The Herald Bulletin reported the man was in critical but stable condition after being shot in the head twice.
