BOONE COUNTY, Ind. (Lebanon Reporter) - Authorities in Boone County say that if a trend continues, the county could reach 1,000 felony cases before the year's end.
984 felony counts had been filed as of Dec. 1, 24-Hour News 8's news partner The Lebanon Reporter reports.
Boone County Prosecutor Todd Meyer says there has been an increase in burglaries and people driving while intoxicated.
At this time last year, 728 felony charges had been filed in the county.
