NEW CASTLE, Ind. (WISH) - Four people were arrested Wednesday morning during a New Castle math lab bust.
Around 2 a.m. Wednesday, police entered a home in the 300 block of North 18th Street, New Castle, on a search warrant.
They arrested Jeffrey Neal, 54, Candace Hiler, 59, Rusty Campton, 39, Atysha Berryhill, 25. They were each charged with manufacturing meth, a Class B felony; possession of precursors used to manufacture meth, a Class D felony; and possession of a hypodermic needle, a Class D felony.
Neal and Campton were also charged with maintaining a common nuisance. Hiler and Berryhill were charged with illegal dumping of methamphetamine waste.
A one-mile stretch of State Road 135 was closed Friday as firefighters battled a house fire, according to the Johnson County Sheriff's Office.
