INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A 13-year member of the Marion County Sheriff's Office was terminated Wednesday for sexual misconduct.
Warren Hoosier, who formerly severed as a deputy in the Jail Medical Section, inappropriately touched a female inmate that was in his custody while being escorted within the jail last week, according to a release.
Wednesday, jail representatives say Hoosier solicited and received the inmate's personal telephone number.
Investigators obtained a confession and the inmate's number from Hoosier. Investigators and the Marion County Prosecutor's Office will meet to seek criminal charges.
Hoosier had been suspended on two separate occasions in 2002 and 2004 for minor offenses.
