TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Police arrested a Terre Haute man Thursday on allegations he tried to set fire to a house during a domestic dispute.
William Osborn, 42, faces charges of Attempted Arson, Intimidation, Domestic Battery and Criminal Mischief. He was arrested on a warrant with $100,000 bond.
Investigators believe Osborn went to a house in Terre Haute to confront a former girlfriend and threatened to set fire to the house if she did not come out.
Those in the home said Osborn began dousing the home with gasoline. Authorities said other adults and children were in the house as well.
Authorities said Osborn confessed to the allegations during questioning by police.
Carmel High School took over the Colts Complex for a night.
Avon Police Department and Avon Community School Corp. are investigating photos sent from female students to male students, police officials said.
