FREMONT, Ind. (WANE) - A man died after an early morning shooting Sunday in Fremont, near Jimmerson Lake, according to WANE's partner in news, KPC .
KPC reports that a man was shot at a home in the Buena Vista neighborhood, off of Nevada Mills Road, in Fremont. Steuben County Sheriff Tim Troyer said the victim was 29 years old.
Troyer said the victim was taken to Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, where he was pronounced dead.
KPC said the name of the victim has not been released pending notification of all family. Apparently, some of the victim's family do not live in the area.
Steuben County Sheriff's Department, Indiana State Police and Angola Police Department are all investigating the incident.
Troyer told KPC that search warrants have been executed, people are being interviewed, and properties are being searched in the area where the incident occurred.
