SHELBY CO., Ind. (WISH) - A Shelby County man who shot and killed a teenager playing paintball on his property was sentenced Monday morning.
A judge sentenced Jason Bagley to three and a half years in the Department of Correction.
In 2011, investigators say Bagley shot 17-year-old Brandon Spangler while playing paintball with his family .
Bagley told investigators he thought he was shooting at coyotes and didn't realize there were people around.
He plead guilty to one count of criminal recklessness resulting in serious bodily injury , a Class C felony in April.
Carmel High School took over the Colts Complex for a night.
Avon Police Department and Avon Community School Corp. are investigating photos sent from female students to male students, police officials said.
