INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Police say a woman is dead following a shooting on the city's northeast side Thursday night.
Officers responded to the 3600 block of North Lasalle Street around 6:10 p.m. to the report of a person shot.
When IMPD officers responded they found a woman sitting on the front porch suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. She has been identified as 45-year-old Kimberly Jackson.
Two males were seen running westbound from the scene.
An autopsy is scheduled for Friday morning to determine a manner and cause of death, police say.
